BUCHAREST, May 4 (Xinhua) -- Teatrelli Hall in downtown Bucharest on Friday hosted the opening of the third Zhejiang Movie Week of China with Mr. Six, the opening film.

The Romanians had a chance to watch a complex plot focused around the idea of honor, manifested in different ways by the characters, according to their educational and social background, in the film directed by Guan Hu and starring Feng Xiaogang, Zhang Hanyu, Xu Qing, Li Yifeng.

"Films give the opportunity to peoples to learn more about each other in a direct way," said Tian Yuyuan, chief of the delegation representing the Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Film Artists Association of Zhejiang Province.

In April 2013, the first Zhejiang Movie Week was organized in Bucharest, and in June 2014, the second edition. For this third edition, Tian has brought five films produced in Eastern China's Zhejiang Province.

Bobby Paunescu, Romanian film director and producer, expressed his regret that "the good film industry relations that Romanian created with China in the 1970s and 1980s lagged behind for a while instead of being reinforced".

"This event is part of the effort to revamp the good relations so that both parties could benefit. China is currently the second biggest cinema market of the world," Paunescu said.
