LONDON, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- A five-star bed and breakfast hotel in London that created wizard-themed chambers to cater for Harry Potter fans was Tuesday named as one of the three independent hotels in the British capital to gain a coveted Rose award.

The Georgian House, tucked away in the picturesque streets of Pimlico, combines boutique chic with quintessential Victorian charm.

The Grade II-listed property includes themed rooms, including its popular wizard rooms, with occupant rates rocketing because of popularity of boy wizard Harry Potter, star of the famous books and films by J.K. Rowling.

ROSE Awards, which have been presented to 100 recipients across England, throws the spotlight on accommodation providers who provide visitors with the warmest of welcomes. They recognise the owners, management and employees of establishments that go above and beyond, making customers' experiences extra special, irrespective of star rating, style or accommodation type.

The Georgian House has created seven Wizard Chambers for families and groups of friends while enchanted chambers offer a cosier experience for two people.

"They are more popular with Harry Potter fans or anyone else looking for a different experience," the hotel told Xinhua Tuesday, "all the rooms are decorated in a magical Gothic style."

The Enchanted Chamber which has two single four poster beds for a real dormitory feel, while one of the wizard chambers can sleep six people.

The hotel entices guests, young and old, posing the question, ever wondered what it's like to sleep as a wizard?

It's facilities include a Wizard Chamber to transport people to a world full of magic and marvel, entered through a concealed bookcase door.

It allows curious guests to enjoy venturing to the Wizard Chamber on the lower ground floor of the 19th century hotel, treading along a portrait-lined passageway bathed in candle light that casts dancing shadows across the walls.

"Created to conjure a mysterious and gothic feel, each room features faux castle details such as stained glass windows, stone walls, archways, trunks, cauldrons, four-poster beds hung with velvet curtains. Wood burning stoves, cauldrons in fireplaces and tapestries complete the look, says the hotel.

One Aldwych, a hotel in central London which boats a private collection of over 400 pieces of art and sculpture works, and the Barons serviced apartments at Twickenham also collected Rose awards.

In every region accommodation providers based in farmhouses, holiday cottages, old manor houses and village inns, were celebrating receiving awards.

VisitEngland Director Patricia Yates said: From Bed and Breakfast accommodation in beautiful countryside and glamorous glamping to boutique hotels to quintessentially English pubs with rooms, a range of outstanding accommodation providers right across the country are being recognised today. It is the human touch that these people provide that make visitors' experiences memorable, ensuring repeat business and helping the industry thrive."
