In addition to the short films, three award-winning Chinese language films, namely "SUSU", "The Soul of Himalaya" and "The Fragile House", are also being screened during the festival from Jan. 27 to Jan. 31 in collaboration with Chinese Arts Now (CAN) to show the British audience the contemporary Chinese films from different angles, themes and artistic expression.

An-Ting Chang, the CEO of CAN, said that through the cooperation with the Filming East Festival, new opportunities of showcasing and communications will be created for Chinese filmmakers in Britain, who have been facing challenges.

Since 2007, Filming East Festival has been dedicated to showcasing excellent contemporary Chinese language films in Britain.
