WASHINGTON, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- The NBA on Thursday announced 14 reserves for the All-Star game to be slated for Feb. 17 in Charlotte.

Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans), LaMarcus Aldridge (San Antonio Spurs), Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets), Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers), Klay Thompson (Golden State Warriors), Karl-Anthony Towns (Minnesota Timberwolves) and Russell Westbrook (Oklahoma City Thunder) are picked as the Western Conference reserves.

Bradley Beal (Washington Wizards), Blake Griffin (Detroit Pistons), Kyle Lowry (Toronto Raptors), Khris Middleton (Milwaukee Bucks), Victor Oladipo (Indiana Pacers), Ben Simmons (Philadelphia 76ers) and Nikola Vucevic (Orlando Magic) are the Eastern Conference reserves.

A replacement will be named at a later date for Oladipo, who is out for the remainder of this season after surgery Monday to repair the ruptured quad tendon in his right knee.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was the top vote-getter for the Western Conference starters, a group that also includes Golden State's Stephen Curry, Houston Rockets' James Harden, Golden State's Kevin Durant and Oklahoma City's Paul George.

Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo, the top vote-getter from the Eastern Conference, is joined by Boston Celtics' Kyrie Irving, Charlotte Hornets' Kemba Walker, Toronto's Kawhi Leonard and Philadelphia's Joel Embiid in the East.

As captains, James and Antetokounmpo will draft their teams for the All-Star game, choosing from the starters and 14 reserves, regardless of the conference affiliation. The All-Star draft will take place on Feb. 7.
