ISLAMABAD, July 3 (Xinhua) -- At least five security personnel were killed and one other was injured in an explosion in Pakistan-controlled Kashmir on Wednesday, an army statement said.

The explosion occurred a few meters from the Line of Control between Pakistan and India.

The nature of the blast was not known yet and security forces were trying to ascertain it, the military's media wing Inter-Services Public Relations said in the statement.
